2009 was a good year. I think each year my life has been better than the one before it. I’m sure there have been a few exceptions, but I always find myself at the end of the year thinking I am happier than I was the year prior. And as long as I think that, who really cares if it’s true or not? I can only say Thanks to You God for what you has given to me..So yes, 2009 was a good year. And yes, I expect 2010 to be better. Amin !!!
New year is not so special for me, its not because I dont want to celebrate the day, its just because i’m not used to celebrate New Year’s eve, if I want to i can do it, but i prefer celebrate it with my family rather than do something that wasting my time, so sad, iam far away from home :(…Yap the turn of the year on early January I was busy looking for an apartment and moved into a new apartment.
Looking for a new apartment is little bit difficult, especially for those who want to have better place to live, About living cost ? of course each emirates have different offers about the cost living. how much money you will spent and saving per month is depends on the rent you will have to pay, how many persons living in the apartment, how much water and electricity will be used, AC consumer, and your life style of course.
Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the most expensive city in the Middle East. Many people think rents in those both city would be less, for me that’s not true. I think people who living in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the people who have more income or facilities from their company. A one bedroom apartment in Abu Dhabi or Dubai costs around Dhs 40.000 to Dhs 60.000, without any furniture.
In Sharjah, rent for a apartement its about 25.000-30.000 AED for a year, thats only for studio without room with size aproximately 6x6m, if we want to get apartement with one room or two rooms, furnished or semi furnished.of course the more money we have to spent for this.
The cheapest cost living we can find in Ajman its about 15.000-20.000 AED a year for studio, but i think u understand the reason why living in Ajman is quite cheap . one of them because its far from others emirates. In Sharjah we just need only 15-30 minutes to get to Dubai.
Finally, after searching several apartments, actually its only 2 apartments LOL, we decided to rent apartment in Sharjah with various of reasons, I Think this is still expensive for us because previously we shared the room with 4 others people now its only me and Firman.
And guess where we are choose to living in? ya in Buhamra Building, the same apartment building where iam living before but now iam moving to room 401, and this is the second apartment I live in since four months ago i was live on the same apartement in 606.
The apartment where iam living now i thinks is quite comfortable, the balcony faces parking area, down here at the same building is almadina supermarket, soo i dont have to go too far to buy something, and the mosque is about 50 meters from here.
I live here with my friend Firman, he is from Indonesia too, living with other people we already know or at least behave better, more is needed in UAE’. Lived alone in a apartment would be very quiet. Life here is dry and very individualistic. Every person every day just busy with work and other consumer lifestyle, shopping, clubbing, and other entertainment activities. For singles who live in Dubai, a very severe test hee .. especially for the boys. xixi
